COVID-19 FAQ

All the information you need for ordering during the current Coronavirus outbreak.

What adjustments are you making?

We are a family business, currently we have just one member of staff packing orders who is taking all sensible hygiene precautions, including washing hands regularly. All orders are being dispatched in three working days, often sooner. Our Royal Mail order collections are contactless to reduce risk.

We are doing everything we can to ensure that you continue to receive the high quality service you're used to, even in the current exceptional situation. We are continually monitoring the situation to make any necessary adjustments for the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers.

Are all products still available?

All our products are currently available and ready to post as usual. We only sell items that are in stock in our warehouse. We are restocking products as normal, though some of our suppliers currently have delays. If you really want an item, we'd advised purchasing sooner to avoid disappointment.

Will there be delivery delays?

We are dispatching parcels as normal from our warehouse. We dispatch all orders using Royal Mail. We are finding that most deliveries are reaching their destination in a timely manner, though Royal Mail have advised that despite their best endeavours, it is likely that some areas of the country will experience a reduction in service levels due to coronavirus-related absences at their local mail centre or delivery office.

Royal Mail have their own dedicated Coronavirus update page for further information.

Can I contract the virus from my parcel?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the probability that an infected person can contaminate goods with the virus is very low. The risk of getting infected with the coronavirus through a package that has travelled long distances and been exposed to various external conditions and temperatures is also very low.

Studies suggest that coronaviruses can only survive on surfaces for a short period of time. If you are still unsure, you can clean all parcels and products you receive with a simple disinfectant to protect yourself and others. You should also clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand disinfectant or wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. And avoid touching your eyes, mouth or nose.
